It assumes that hp loss is independent of structure size, hp loss is percentage based, and consistent over time across all buildings. I had a few small wind turbines and a large, and, while it seemed like they did have a similar rate of health-loss (read: spare consumption), you can get more power per unit of spares (read: per metal and biofilm) from the larger ones. It looks like Spares are utilized when a building's at about 60% health. I've made the assumption that the rate of spare consumption is dependent solely on the number of buildings. I did have two big Power Collectors in use, but they don't need spares. If by "restricted expansion," you could mean that I forgot to supply a connection to my landing pad, then, yes, I restricted expansion. ![]()
